I’ve been really lucky with Stereophonics.
It took me a long time to get to see them - partially for lack of trying. When I finally got to see them for the first time, I made it to the front row with no effort on my part. The second time I saw them was the day before St Patrick’s Day in 2018, and I hadn’t planned to go because traffic and accommodation is so troublesome at that time of the year. Then, my mobile provider surprised me with a pair of free tickets, and I couldn’t say no! Although the tickets were seated, they were the best seats in the house.
Picking my favourite Stereophonics song would be almost impossible. They’re very consistent, and the one thing I always love about them is Kelly Jones’s voice. Just listen to it - aahh.
