This is one of my favourite songs, and in a live environment, this one is almost unbeatable.
There is nothing I don’t love about this song. Such a riff! I’ve felt dizzy from too much headbanging at Muse shows during this song, but it’s impossible to stand still while this is playing. ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ is one of those songs that I can’t even describe in words. It’s too good for words. You have to listen to it to appreciate it.
Muse is, without a doubt, one of my absolute favourite bands. They are one of those bands that never disappoint, but they are eccentric and not necessarily easy to listen to. Whenever they release something new, it takes me a while to get into it, but when I get into it, I love it. I remember seeing a banner at a Muse gig once that stated, “Muse - music for intelligence people.’
